With Mass Tort and Class Action Experience, Michael H. Bowman Leads Baltimore Office
Attorney Michael H. Bowman has always been out in front, working from the ground up to build cases against large corporations whose negligence can wreak havoc in injured victims' personal and professional lives.
He heads up Sadaka Law’s Baltimore office and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, as well as several Federal District Courts across the country.
A Powerful Background in Science and Law
Attorney Michael H. Bowman grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and went to Saint Anselm’s Abbey School in the District of Columbia. In college, he was not only an NCAA swimmer, but he was also a Pre-Med student who spent most summers shadowing physicians at several DC-area hospitals.
He earned a degree in Biology before getting his MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University, and then earned his law degree from Rutgers University. He has been working to secure justice for plaintiffs ever since.
Mr. Bowman's background in science, business, and law makes him an excellent advocate for the injured, particularly in cases that involve serious injuries and complex mechanisms of harm.
Michael H. Bowman's Dedication to Justice
Whether he is at trial or preparing cases at earlier stages, Mr. Bowman's life and career revolve around using the legal system to help people who need it.
Attorney Michael H. Bowman has handled severe personal injury cases that require extensive medical and scientific understanding, consumer class actions steeped in financial and legal hurdles, and product liability mass tort lawsuits that allege faulty design or corporate neglect. He is well known by the plaintiff’s bar for his work in national class and multi-district litigation cases.
Mr. Bowman joined Sadaka Law with over a decade of class action and mass tort experience, after first meeting Mark Sadaka early on in his legal career, when the two attorneys were working on several different committees in the Kugel Mesh Mass Tort. In that litigation, and after working on several trial teams, Michael H. Bowman was ultimately appointed to the plaintiffs’ settlement committee that oversaw the distribution of over $200 million to injured plaintiffs.
Attorney Michael H. Bowman's Impact
Over decades in legal practice, Attorney Michael H. Bowman has made a difference in the lives of the injured clients he serves. A shining example of his impact is the work he has done, and the results he has achieved, in large-scale pelvic mesh injury litigation matters.
Mr. Bowman took many of the first depositions of physicians and expert witnesses in those litigations. He then led the way by working up and producing the most called-upon plaintiffs’ engineering experts.
Hundreds of millions of dollars have since been awarded to mesh-plaintiffs in those cases. Much of Mike’s work is still being used to secure settlements for injured patients across the country.
